Wouldn't the sanding removed all of the dust and grime? If so, time saver not cleaning the entire chair then sanding and having to go back and clean up all the sanding dust.
If you use fineline tape (auto) to do your outline/edge then use your masking tape over it and the rest of ??
You'll get a cleaner line.
