Well, luckily for us, the lifestyle mogul just revealed the exact beauty routine responsible for her viral look in a brand new Instagram video and TikTok. “Remember my iconic thirst trap? I’m finally revealing how I create the perfect selfie,” she wrote in her Instagram caption.
In the video, Stewart gives her best “Thirst Trap 101” tips, and apparently the secret lies in a collection of Clé de Peau skincare and makeup products. “So you want the tea on how I create my perfect selfies?” a voiceover says while Stewart poses in front of her poolside selfie.
“First, project fabulous,” she says while blowing a kiss. (Is there anyone more fabulous than Martha Stewart? We think not!) “Next, only conceal where needed. Being effortless is key,” she continues while showing off her go-to coverup, the Clé de Peau Concealer. It comes in 12 shades and has SPF 27 to keep your skin covered and protected from the sun.
“The range of concealer shades come in handy for different concealing tasks. You can use it to cover everything from a blemish to enlarged pores and bruises,” Stewart said in a statement. “I like to apply it with a very soft brush… not just my fingertips.”

“I was actually trying to take a picture of the beautiful planted pot at the end of my pool, and I must have hit the reverse button on my camera,” Stewart said. “And there I am in the picture, and I snapped it and said, ‘boy you look really good!’ and that was that.”
